Shop Illustrators Erik Kriek and Typex in current issue of Zone 5300!

The winter issue of cult/comic magazine Zone 5300 2010/2011 dives deep into the shades and examines what is lurking in the darkness.

First up Shop artist Erik Kriek premieres his comic version of the HP Lovecraft story 'The Unseen'. A first pleasant taste of his upcoming graphic novel 'Dagon and other narratives', which will be published by Oog & Blik/De Bezige Bij, somewhere in 2011. Kriek gives us frightening look at the nature of darkness. A genuine piece of classic horror and a must for every fan of the work of HP Lovecraft!

Also in this issue: an in-depth interview with Shop illustrator Typex, in which he freely talks about his latest work: life-size drawings in charcoal and chalk who are provocative because of their horrifying subjects. The pieces were exhibited in Amsterdam and Barcelona.
