Martine Johanna designs Spijkers&Spijkers 2011 London show invitation

The Dutch twin sisters Truus and Riet Spijkers, graduated in 1993 and 1994 from the School of the Arts department fashion design, and followed in 2000 Masters at the Fashion Institute Arnhem. Since the founding of their fashion label in 2000, the duo brings an annual Spring / Summer and Autumn / Winter collection with shows in Paris, London and Milan. Spijkers & Spijkers asked Shop illustrator Martine Johanna to create a illustration for the invitation of their Spring/Summer 2011 London show. The invitation itself was folded in a diagonal way to emphasis the diagonal lines of the design.
