Anouk Griffioen's 'Collectie Imaginaire' Exhibition

Collectie Imaginaire is part of a series of exhibitions commissioned by Arti et Amicitiae in Amsterdam. Within this series artists get the opportunity to show their own favourite art collection. Younger artists generally have no collection built up. For Collectie Imaginaire Arti et Amicitiae gives them the oppertunity to show artwork that they would like to own. Hence the name Collectie Imaginaire (Collection Imaginaire).
Shop Around artist Anouk Griffioen was asked to select the artists for the upcoming exhibition.

Anouk Griffioen about the exhibition:
"Collectie Imaginaire stands for a selection of works by different artists I admire and who inspire me. I’ll be visiting all the artists and after my visit, I’ll make a drawing of the artist and the chosen work. The ?nal exhibition will feature the selected works together with my drawings. My ultimate goal is to make my ‘Collectie Imaginaire’ a real life collection by selling my drawings and use the money to buy the chosen works".
